Turkey Marco Polo

Marco Polo means cooked with broccoli. This delicious and easy main dish recipe is a real winner.

Prep Time: 25 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 10 oz. container refrigerated four cheese alfredo sauce
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 lb. broccoli spears
  • 8 thin slices cooked turkey breast
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In heavy saucepan combine alfredo sauce, wine, and cream and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat and set aside.

Cook broccoli spears in boiling water until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Drain well. Place spears on cooked turkey breast and roll up to enclose broccoli. Place turkey bundles in 9x13" glass baking dish and pour alfredo sauce mixture over all. In small bowl combine bread crumbs, melted butter, and thyme leaves and mix well. Sprinkle over casserole.

Bake at 400 degrees F for 20-25 minutes until thoroughly heated and bubbly. Serves 6
