I also like the oval shape, which accomodates larger cuts of meat, and large size, which will feed a family nicely.

This crockpot is versatile and so easy to use. You do have to watch the cooking time, as it cooks at hotter temperatures, but this is a good basic model.

This small crockpot is a great choice for smaller families. It's also perfect for party appetizer dips with its keep-warm feature. And of course it has a removable, dishwasher-safe, stoneware liner.
