Ingredients:
- 8 oz. pkg. refrigerated yeast dinner roll dough
- 1/4 cup melted butter OR one lightly beaten egg white
- 1 Tbsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a cookie sheet and set aside.Divide each roll in half. Roll dough between hands to make a 4 inch long breadstick. Place sticks on the prepared baking sheet. Brush lightly with melted butter or slightly beaten egg white. Sprinkle bread sticks with garlic salt, and Parmesan cheese. Cover and allow to rise until doubled.
Bake at 350 degrees F oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Watch carefully, as these burn easily.
To make ahead of time, bake the breadsticks as directed. Store at room temperature, covered, up to 24 hours. When ready to serve, place on broiler pan and broil for 1-2 minutes, 6-8" from heat source, until browned and hot. 24 breadsticks; 12 servings
