Think about adding chopped cooked chicken or turkey to this easy and healthy sandwich spread.

Ingredients:
- 16 oz. can garbanzo beans, drained
- 1/4 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
- 4 green onions, sliced
Preparation:
In food processor or blender, combine drained chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, oregano, and salt and pepper. Blend well until desired consistency. Remove to medium bowl and add remaining ingredients. Cover tightly and store in refrigerator up to three days.
Makes enough for 8-10 sandwiches
