Eggs Lorraine

This simple egg and sausage entree recipe is perfect fo r aholiday brunch.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 8 eggs
  • 8 link sausages, cooked and drained
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spread butter in 8" glass baking dish. Sprinkle half of the cheese over butter. Break eggs carefully onto cheese. Pierce yolks with a fork, but don't stir the eggs; leave them separate. Place cooked and drained sausages on eggs and pour cream over all. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, until eggs are set and casserole is bubbly. Serves 4-6
