This elegant recipe is made easy with convenience products, including frozen puff pastry and bottled alfredo sauce.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 10 oz. frozen patty shells
  • 10 oz. container roasted garlic Alfredo sauce
  • 10 oz. pkg. frozen small raw shrimp, thawed and drained
  • 6 oz. pkg. frozen cooked crab, thawed and drained
  • 1 cup frozen baby peas or green beans, thawed and drained
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

PREPARATION:

Bake patty shells according to package directions.

Meanwhile, 10 minutes before the patty shells are done, in heavy saucepan combine Alfredo sauce and shrimp. Bring to a simmer; cook and stir for 4-5 minutes until shrimp curl and turn pink. Stir in crab and thawed green beans; simmer for 2-3 minutes longer. Top with Gruyere cheese; cover and remove from heat.

Remove the little top from each baked patty shell. Stir seafood mixture.

To serve, pour 3/4 cup seafood mixture into each patty shell and top with patty shell lid. Sprinkle each with Parmesan cheese and serve. 6 servings
