Shrimps de Jonghe

For shrimp lovers, this dish is pure heaven.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 2 cups soft bread crumbs
  • 1-1/2 pounds shelled, deveined cooked large shrimp

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Butter a 2 quart baking dish and set aside. In heavy saucepan, melt butter and add garlic. Cook over medium heat until garlic is tender. Remove from heat and stir in paprika, wine, and bread crumbs; toss to coat well.

In prepared baking dish, place a layer of cooked shrimp, then spread on a layer of bread crumb mixture. Repeat layers, ending with bread crumb mixture. Bake at 375 degrees F for 20-30 minutes until top is golden brown. Serves 4
