Tuna Alfredo Casserole

User Rating 5 Star Rating (2 Reviews)

You could add just about any frozen, thawed vegetable to this easy five ingredient updated tuna casserole recipe; peas or corn would work well.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Total Time: 40 minutes

Yield: Serves 6

  • 3 cups mafalda (mini lasagna) or mostaccioli noodles
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto
  • 10 oz. container refrigerated cheese alfredo sauce
  • 12 oz. can solid white tuna, drained and chunked
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cook pasta according to directions, drain well. Meanwhile, combine pesto and Alfredo sauce and mix to combine. Add cooked pasta and tuna and mix gently.

Pour into 2 quart glass baking dish and top with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and casserole is hot.

Stellar recipe, Guest 22quickcook

I don't have a lot of money or attention span. The ingredients cost me $12 and it took 15 minutes between cooking the pasta and mixing it up. Super-simple instructions and my friends loved it! I would definitely make this again.
