This combination of vegetables is not common at all, which surprised me when I searched for it. I love the colors of these two vegetables together, and their texture and flavors are complementary as well.

Ingredients:
- 2 cups frozen baby peas
- 2 cups white and gold frozen corn
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
Preparation:
Place peas and corn in microwave safe casserole dish. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup water. Cover and microwave on high for 6 minutes. Stir vegetables. Microwave, uncovered, for 2 minutes longer. Drain well and add butter and seasonings to vegetables. Stir gently, then microwave, uncovered, for 1 minute longer until butter is melted and vegetables are hot. Let stand for 2 minutes, stir gently, and serve. Serves 4
