We were trying to go ""simple but elegant"" for our NYE dinner this year, so went with filet mignon with balsamic syrup and goat cheese (courtesy of Giada), duchess potatoes (courtesy of the Titanic cookbook) and this dish. We were pretty much thinking it would be a slight twist on peas and corn with butter. This dish was amazing. Not only was it incredibly simple to make (all microwave), it was quite tasty and the thyme added another dimension. We both agreed that it was a standout and will definitely make it again. Worth the little time and small cost to check it out for sure.
