Top 10 St. Patrick's Day Recipes

By , About.com Guide

St. Patrick's Day is traditionally celebrated with corned beef and cabbage. Try my crockpot recipes for this classic this year. The meat turns out unbelievably tender, and the carrots, onions, and cabbage are flavored with beer and brown sugar. As implausible as that combination sounds, it's delicious. Other classic recipes include Irish Soda Bread and simmered corned beef. Mix it up with Corned Beef and Cabbage Tarts and some delicious Corned Beef and Slaw sandwiches. Enjoy!

2. Irish Soda Bread

I love quick breads of all sorts. But this bread is one of my favorites. There's something about the sour cream in the bread that makes it so moist and tender. What am I saying? Of course it's the acid in the sour cream that makes the bread so moist and tender. Try it!
