An appetizer party is always wonderful. I think appetizers are so much fun to make. And with them you can easily serve a crowd and cater to different tastes. To make it easier, choose some recipes you make well ahead of time, a few last minute goodies, and some crockpot recipes. This selection is pretty comprehensive. You don't need to make all of them; mix and match as you'd like.
And enjoy the show! My favorite part is the Kitten Halftime, but the whole thing is very entertaining. Especially the chicken cheerleaders.
Puppy Bowl Appetizer Party
- Curried Chex Mix
This flavor combination is simply divine. I love Original Chex Mix, of course, but using curry powder and ginger adds lots of flavor and makes the mix a little more special.
- People Puppy Chow
This is the recipe that gave me the idea for the party! This sweet mix is absolutely addictive. Thanks to Shylee for making the mix and taking the picture!
- All-American Sliders
Sliders are perfect for a party. They're so cute and these pack a flavor punch! Serve a selection on a warming tray.
- Buffalo Chicken Sliders
These tiny burgers are perfect for a party. You can make them as mild or spicy as you like; just vary the hot sauce amount.
- Slow Cooker Saucy Meatballs
This crockpot recipe is a little different and so yummy; it uses raspberry jelly and cocktail sauce to make the flavorful sauce.
- Strwaberry Brie Bruschetta
Strawberries start appearing in the market again around this time of year. Use them in this fabulous appetizer recipe.
- Crockpot Little Sausages
Who doesn't like little sausages? Well, besides vegetarians. This super easy recipe is succulent.
- Creamy Buffalo Chicken Dip
This creamy and flavorful dip is fabulous. I like to serve it with apple slices and celery sticks.
- Baby Potatoes with Caviar
If you feel like splurging a bit, this is the appetizer for you. Creamy potatoes are topped with sour cream and a tiny spoonful of caviar.
- Curried Chicken Balls
This no cook appetizer can be made a day or two ahead of time. Just keep them well covered in the fridge. They're pretty, delicate, and tasty.
- Cranberry Turkey Puff Pastry Bites
This is another really pretty appetizer. It is a classic Thanksgiving leftover recipe, but it's delicious any time of the year.
- Chocolate Walnut Pastries
Using prepared pie crusts, just four more ingredients make these sweet little pastries. They're so delicious.
- Candy Bar Brownies
Just adding candy bars and peanut butter to a brownie mix elevates them to a completely new level. These brownies are the perfect way to end your party.
