Ingredients:
- 9" pie shell, unbaked
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup pecan halves
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Make pie crust and set aside. Beat sugars, butter, corn syrup, salt, eggs, and vanilla in medium bowl with wire whisk or hand beater until well blended. Stir in both kinds of pecans and pour filling into pastry-lined pie plate.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 40 to 50 minutes or until center is set and pie crust is golden brown. Cool on wire rack before slicing. 8 servings
