Pecan Pie

This classic pie is rich and delicious; enjoy.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 9" pie shell, unbaked
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup pecan halves

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Make pie crust and set aside. Beat sugar, butter, corn syrup, salt and eggs in medium bowl with wire whisk or hand beater until well blended. Stir in pecans and pour filling into pastry-lined pie plate.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 40 to 50 minutes or until center is set and pie crust is golden brown. Cool on wire rack before slicing. 8 servings
