If you are serving a small number of people for Thanksgiving, or if there are many in a crowd who like white meat, roast a turkey breast. It's the perfect amount for about 6 people, is easy to cook, and is delicious too. These simple and delicious turkey breast recipes may be all you need for Thanksgiving or other holiday dinners.

Cook the turkey breast in your crockpot only if you know there aren't any high-risk people among your guests (those include pregnant women, the elderly, very small children, and those with chronic health conditions). I cook turkey breast that way, but only because I know my guests don't fall into those categories. Otherwise, roast or grill the turkey.

In the oven, a turkey breast takes 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 hours to roast, about 30 minutes per pound at 325 to 350 degrees F. A stuffed breast will take 30-60 minutes longer, until the meat thermometer reaches 160 degrees F. You can baste it once or twice, but you don't have to. I like to have the skin on the turkey when it's roasted, just because it adds so much to the flavor of the bird and helps keep it moist.

Enjoy these recipes and make your Thanksgiving dinner a lot easier!

Turkey Breast Recipes

  • Juicy Roasted Turkey Breast
This basic recipe for a juicy and tender roasted turkey breast is very simple. It's perfect for smaller families during the holidays, or any time you want some white meat turkey for recipes.
  • Herb Roasted Turkey Breast
This easy recipe packs a lot of flavor. Be sure to get some crisp skin and herb stuffing with each piece you carve.
  • Stuffed Turkey Breast
A smaller version of my family's turkey recipe, this recipe is a winner.
  • Turkey Breast with Cranberry Stuffing
This stuffing, with dried cranberries and oatmeal bread, is really pretty and delicious. And the turkey is well flavored too.
  • Turkey Breast with Cornbread Bacon Stuffing
Cornbread and bacon combine with onions and garlic to make a fabulous stuffing for this easy turkey recipe.
  • Crockpot Turkey Breast
You can serve the vegetables with the turkey, although they will be pretty soft. Instead, puree them in a food processor and add some chicken broth; simmer for a few minutes, and voila! Vegetable gravy.
  • Crockpot Cranberry Stuffed Turkey Breast
Both dried and fresh cranberries add lots of flavor and color to this beautiful stuffing.
  • Wild Rice Stuffed Turkey Breast
This was originally a five ingredient recipe. When I make it, I use chicken broth instead of water, and add minced garlic and more herbs. Yum.
  • Three Ingredient Crockpot Turkey
Cranberry sauce and dried onion soup mix along with a turkey breast make a super easy and delicious main dish for Thanksgiving.
  • Turkey Breast Dijon
Again, just three ingredients make a fabulous turkey, moist, tender, and well seasoned.
  • Crockpot Onion Turkey with Stuffing
Adding onion to stuffing mix doesn't seem complicated, but it produces a wonderfully flavored bird. You could add more ingredients to this stuffing if you'd like.
  • Crockpot Maple Glazed Turkey Breast
This recipe originally used potatoes, but I decided to change it to use cornbread instead. A maple/apricot mixture adds fabulous flavor to the cornbread and the turkey as it cooks. You could add more ingredients, like crumbled bacon, or dried cranberries, but I think it's perfect just like this.
