Whether or not you observe Lent, it's still a good idea to occasionally review your diet and life and restate or rephrase the goals you so optimistically set forth on New Year's Eve. And everyone can certainly do with a day or two each week without meat; even think about giving up an indulgence for a week or two.
For me, spring is an ideal time of year to think about all of these things. I've done pretty well on my New Year's resolutions, and as I start spring cleaning, I'm enjoying the feel of stronger muscles that are a result of my exercise program and improved diet. I'm also trying to include fish in my diet at least once a week.
So this weekend think about your life goals. Are you meeting them? Are you feeding your family the healthiest diet possible? Is everyone in your family exercising? Enjoy the weekend with these easy recipes and menus.
