Turkey Pesto Cutlets

This simple and delicious main dish recipe takes about 15-20 minutes from start to finish, using purchased turkey cutlets and four more ingredients.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 (12 ounce) package turkey cutlets
  • 1/3 cup basil pesto
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3-4 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Preparation:

In shallow bowl, combine pesto with mayonnaise and mix well. On a shallow plate, combine bread crumbs with cheese and mix well. Using a knife, spread some of the pesto mixture on one side of a turkey cutlet. Drop, pesto side down, in the bread crumbs. Spread the other side of the cutlet with more pesto mixture. Turn coated cutlet in the bread crumb mixture to coat; remove to plate. Repeat with remaining cutlets, pesto mixture, and bread crumb mixture.

When all cutlets are coated, place olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Cook cutlets, 3-4 at a time, turning once, over medium high heat until turkey is thoroughly cooked and bread crumbs are browned, about 8-10 minutes.

Serve immediately.
